Midnight Meadows is proud of offer a variety of English riding lessons for riders of all levels.
We are firm believers in instilling values of safe, compassionate, knowledgeable practices to make well-rounded, kind equestrians.
What sets us apart? We pride ourselves on our family oriented environment- if you ride with us, you become part of our barn family for life. We are so proud to support our riders throughout their lives in and out of the barn.
Tiny Trotters is a program designed for aspiring riders and horse-people, aged 2-6. We recognize that there are limited programs for very young children, and this age group is our specialty! Coach Cassidy has years of experience helping young children cultivate their love of all things equine in a safe, guided experience that focuses on the fundamentals of horsemanship and horse care.
Tiny Trotters lessons are 1 hour total, including both mounted and un-mounted portions of the lesson. Tiny Trotters learn all about grooming their ponies, parts of the pony, types of equipment and their purposes, as well as the basics of learning to ride.
This is a hands on, private lesson experience that allows for children to forge strong bonds with both their pony and their instructor, in a manner that appreciates young attention spans.

We have a variety of group and private lesson options for recreational and competition-focused riders.
Regardless of the path our riders wish to follow, we emphasize horsemanship and safety. All of our riders learn the skills necessary to be safe in the barn, and understand that proper horse care is of the utmost importance.
Beginner riders start in a private lesson environment to allow for undivided attention in learning the fundamentals of horseback riding. Once they are able to demonstrate safe and effective riding as outlined by their coach, they are able to graduate to a group lesson environment if they choose, or continue in the private lesson structure.
Our novice groups are no more than 3 riders, and our intermediate-advanced groups are no more than 4 riders. This allows our riders to have a focused learning environment that caters to their individual needs and goals. We pride ourselves on building a foundation of trust through positive learning outcomes, and understand how much of an impact a coach that 'gets it' makes in a rider's life.

This program caters to individuals who rode previously and would like to get back in the saddle. Often our returning riders have been out of the saddle for 20+ years and quickly rediscover their passion for all things equine.
We place a strong emphasis on a slow and steady return to the saddle- understanding that safety and comfort in our everyday life outside of the barn guides our exercises.
Our horses are seasoned, kind, and excel at welcoming you back into the saddle.
